MATLAB lecture day....feet washing

Today was great(obviously!), had to wake up early, though i had slept for about 7hours. imagine when i have project report to write. I just crashed last night. anyways, i woke up early, went to the reading room to prepare for the MATLAB lecture i was to make. Hmm, cudnt just concentrate, needed some information online. This i could get by going over to the departmental building to work...i did leave and went off to have my bath, then got set for the WHITE House(abeg, white house is the departmental building).

Started preparing for the lecture. created the sketch and made it all out but you know wat, even though i was gonna be talking about what i had been working on for the past 1 year, i was a bit nervous and didnt want to start it. went up to the lab, saw the coordinator wasnt there, left. went back again, left. then i got a call." we are expecting you".  Lets leave that side sha. it was fantastic. had a great time talking about MATLAB; the Wavelet toolbox; Neural network toolbox and the whole process....talking could be work. i was sort of exhausted by the end...Then we left for church(yea. that's where the feet washing came up). I expected a communion service, but didnt see the table and then ...pastor just talk say na "feet". When last i do feet washing for church? that should be like 200level(Undergraduate days)...I relished the moment this time around(you never know when next)..this time it was for direction..and I got it...Yipee!

Got back to the Campus with Omoruyi, Folake and Titi in a bus. Though myself and Omoruyi stopped at S.U.B. to chop at Forks and Fingers...We dined with Mimi joining us some minutes later. The food was gud. Omo had Amala with Egusi...I had Mixed rice(jollof&Fried) with "eja"(hope the details aint too much)...Rain started falling before the end of the meal, though we still had to walk mimi down to the bus-stop in it and then off to white house before i got my PC to start typing this...................and then I'm sure in a while, its gonna be ZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....

The Many Walks with Kiity

Ever heard of the benefits of 30 minutes walk everyday?  I bet you have. Walking is a great way to improve or maintain our overall health. Just 30 minutes every make a change in your life. I took a walk for 1 hour once and I felt the effects. It was about 8km in all and I could feel my legs tingling when I finished. The next day, the muscles spoke and I was happy.  Kiity and I enjoy taking lots of walks. We did that a lot in Nigeria both individually and together. I enjoy it more when we do it together. Since we arrived the Netherlands in April this year, we have had several walks and I enjoy it more when we do it together.   Walking over a small bridge, De Poel, Amstelveen I decide to take walks for many reasons;  - To exercise. - To clear my head and away from the familiar - To see the environment and new places. - To breathe a different air. The most important is to talk. This is when I do it with Kiity. We have to talk about something as we go.  W...

An Open Letter to Kunfaiyeoluwa

I would love to draft a long letter to you. But the thoughts and words captured above say a lot that I want you to carry on for the rest of your life.  You indeed have a legacy to cherish and to build on. Your mum, grand-mums and great-grand-mums are one of the strongest and determined persons I have met and I know the seed lives on in you. Yes, I did come to know them all and I see the foundation you have to lean on. You are Royalty both Spiritually and by Land Origin. 1 Pet 2:9 reminds me of your spiritual royalty and the knowledge that you are of the origin of men who have reigned as Kings in Nigeria both in Kogi and Ondo States. Therefore, let the words scribed above by the Queen of the Southern Nigerian Kingdom bring light to you today and for every other day. I was watching a movie during the past weekend and it showcased a Father who stood by his daughter even when the whole community were against her. I would like you to know that I would be by your side from Day 1 t...

Love & More - Act 2

It has been a while we had the movie night. We have some history with movie nights I must say. From the times in Akure, Lagos and now, Amstelveen.  Whenever we watch, it exciting. I enjoyed the action movies and then the love ones. I enjoy all of it anyway cos we watch together. the taking it back so you understand better is not so fun for me sha..me i have moved on in cases like that.....but anyways, i agree with you.......better to understand the context. When did we start watching movies together?   Before we got married I guess. I guess this was in Lagos before I took the job with BEDC. Not sure if we watched any on our own or always with Bukky and Busayo. But anyways..the history was formed. Cinemas. one thing I loved about Igbatoro, Akure was the Filmhouse Cinemas at the Akure Mall.  and then those cozy evening when we did nothing but watch a move together. Do you always stay up when we watch? Now I have to write that you might stay up with the first movie but...
