Wow! Its really true. THE DOVER!

Hello.. this is the morning of the 2nd day of the workshop (the workshop actually starts today-Monday). I had an awesome time in church yesterday and you know, i delayed my coming over to the Dover till 6pm, after my mum's meeting.

Coming over to the dover, I can't imagine it.. I told the gentleman that brought me over...Is it one per room, he replied, yes. I said "you mean it". He was like , yes. Waow....the room was exquisite from the beddings, the cupboard, the mirrors, the tv, the chair, the floor, the bath tub, the toilet , the wash hand basin and all. It's been great. had to do my assignment(finished in the nyt..It aint all about enjoyment o, work sef dey).

I read the instruction manual. Imagine even by my Table here in the room is a tea cup with a Milo satchet, a Peak milk satchet, Dover Sugar pillet and Nescafe satchet for my consumption(if i choose and its going to be replaced everyday). after reading the instruction manual, Imagine the most important part i'm going to share with you....hmm....waitin......food joor...breakfast by 8am, Lunch by 1pm and dinner by 7 pm . yeah, i ws only able to have dinner yesterday, missed breakfast and Lunch(Though it has been paid for) and you know we can have water to any amount that we want.

I went down to the pool restaurant to have my dinner. I chose to eat Jollof rice with some other rice I thought was fried rice but turned out to be normal white rice. I wondered later on. JJC. at least I no go fall my hand next time. Took some meat, and chicken with coleslaw(corrrect one o!).

Went over to eat on a table, stayed alone at first but then I noticed every other person on other tables were Fidelity writers and I chose to move over to a guy. introduced myself and then, we Hit! His name is precious(The last picture below). he comes from a family with 8 kids! His Dad is late though and his mum lives here in Lagos. He works with SIFE. a unique organization with the board of trustees being great men from KPMG boss and some other big guys in the industry and might I mention he's purely against having lots of children(he has even written articles on this). about writeups, the guy don write past me o. i dey wonder gaan. we talked a lot, and then went over to his room, checkd it out, and i was like Waow! it looked great. he even had the card lock for his door(mine was the key, better for me sha). When we moved over to my room, he was like..Woooow!, you are staying in a paradise and I was like..this is paradisse..he said, stop trying to be modest. i said yeah yeah..he had even started taking picture of my room and I then had to confess that I found it so too, I had even taken pictures which I had to show to prove my point. then we went ot see the conference hall where the main deal will be going down.

I love life. I love writing. especially diaries you know. i don't mind learning the trade. that's why I'm here anyway. I finished my assignment, felt i should print it. Was turned off when i was told it was N100 to print a page, and I then said..if it's important, you will pay the price..I chose to, but you know what when i got there to collect it, they let me go without paying...What da!( omo, that's favour speaking o).

I had a gud nyt sleep on one bed i took some 30mins getting used to(ife, see what you have turned me to). even having my bath in the night, I took about 10 mins in getting used to the controls o(esp when i needed the warm water, instead of too hot or too cold).

Thank God for this opportunity. I appreciate my parents, I appreciate the fidelity bank too. You know words have been said over my life, that i can't take for granted. Its amazing.

The black dot of yesterday
--------------------------
I saw a mentor of mine, and some strange words came out of my subconscious(in my mind o!). i was weary afterwards. i asked God for forgiveness. yes, i got it. I'd call him today. Hope i get credit o.Sure i will. Let's see how today will be. The time just moved to 6.01am. Gist you later.

Love & More - Act 1

Right from the first day I saw you, I was drawn to you. Not love at first sight, but an attraction that I still cherish today after 13 years.  I still remember the many walks we took when we started talking. My-o-my, I loved talking with you. I still do. Maybe I was listening more, now that I think of it. The one thing I recall was you made it easy to talk and thinking of the walks between White House (Engineering Building) and Computer science Building including other locations within the Obafemi Awolowo University community? Still cherish them. You have come to show me another part of life, completing me in areas I am not as strong. Still a journey for me but I cherish the process even though I sometimes react to the adjustments. I cherish the results though. I love it when you are happy. When you smile (even at my dry jokes). I love it when you excel at the things you do. formal and informal.  I appreciate your thoughtfulness to things. I guess it comes with you being so st...

Love & More - Act 2

It has been a while we had the movie night. We have some history with movie nights I must say. From the times in Akure, Lagos and now, Amstelveen.  Whenever we watch, it exciting. I enjoyed the action movies and then the love ones. I enjoy all of it anyway cos we watch together. the taking it back so you understand better is not so fun for me sha..me i have moved on in cases like that.....but anyways, i agree with you.......better to understand the context. When did we start watching movies together?   Before we got married I guess. I guess this was in Lagos before I took the job with BEDC. Not sure if we watched any on our own or always with Bukky and Busayo. But anyways..the history was formed. Cinemas. one thing I loved about Igbatoro, Akure was the Filmhouse Cinemas at the Akure Mall.  and then those cozy evening when we did nothing but watch a move together. Do you always stay up when we watch? Now I have to write that you might stay up with the first movie but...

The Many Walks with Kiity

Ever heard of the benefits of 30 minutes walk everyday?  I bet you have. Walking is a great way to improve or maintain our overall health. Just 30 minutes every make a change in your life. I took a walk for 1 hour once and I felt the effects. It was about 8km in all and I could feel my legs tingling when I finished. The next day, the muscles spoke and I was happy.  Kiity and I enjoy taking lots of walks. We did that a lot in Nigeria both individually and together. I enjoy it more when we do it together. Since we arrived the Netherlands in April this year, we have had several walks and I enjoy it more when we do it together.   Walking over a small bridge, De Poel, Amstelveen I decide to take walks for many reasons;  - To exercise. - To clear my head and away from the familiar - To see the environment and new places. - To breathe a different air. The most important is to talk. This is when I do it with Kiity. We have to talk about something as we go.  W...
