Happy New Year!

2021. Already a year of Abundance.

It is amazing I did not write on this page between 2019 and 2020.

However, the year just started and I have decided to make it a point of duty to pen down the words that will make the year.

It all started during the cross-over service with the new thinkings (Yes, I added the 's') that is beginning to make the round in the face of the COVID pandemic. New thinkings that Churches have to embrace that you don't have to hold the cross over service into Jan 1 and it can be done at anytime as different people around the world get into Jan 1 at different times. The world is indeed GLOBAL. The foremost person that pushed this was Sam Adeyemi.

I worshipped online with the Foursquare Gospel Church VGC. However, I had taken a sneak peek at two other churches online (Global Mission Church in Indonesia as they got into 2021 earlier & David's Christian Center at Lekki, Lagos).

From the Global Mission Church, I could only follow the subtitles of the songs. The words were in a language I am yet to know. I only wanted to see other countries that got into 2021 before I did.

From the David's Christian Center, I got this...that there is an anointing for properties this year which resonated with the prophecy from Shiloh 2020. I also acted on it with a seed.....

From the real service I attended with Kiitan, I understood the following;

  • God can use any tool he chooses to.
  • We will regain lost grounds
  • The year 2021 is my year of abundance. Luke 5:4-9.
  • There will be elevations to higher heights
  • Out of the church shall come innovative minds that reflects in the church and workplaces.
  • There will be great abundance for our Nation Nigeria.

This is January 1, 2021. I decided to do some laundry while listening to YouTube. I was initially listening to the Living Faith Church New Year Service but at the end, I stumbled on a guy who seems to have provoked me. His name is Ubong Thompson King. its disheartening to hear that he passed not too long ago but his words and videos are shaking me up today.

The Many Walks with Kiity

Ever heard of the benefits of 30 minutes walk everyday?  I bet you have. Walking is a great way to improve or maintain our overall health. Just 30 minutes every make a change in your life. I took a walk for 1 hour once and I felt the effects. It was about 8km in all and I could feel my legs tingling when I finished. The next day, the muscles spoke and I was happy.  Kiity and I enjoy taking lots of walks. We did that a lot in Nigeria both individually and together. I enjoy it more when we do it together. Since we arrived the Netherlands in April this year, we have had several walks and I enjoy it more when we do it together.   Walking over a small bridge, De Poel, Amstelveen I decide to take walks for many reasons;  - To exercise. - To clear my head and away from the familiar - To see the environment and new places. - To breathe a different air. The most important is to talk. This is when I do it with Kiity. We have to talk about something as we go.  W...

An Open Letter to Kunfaiyeoluwa

I would love to draft a long letter to you. But the thoughts and words captured above say a lot that I want you to carry on for the rest of your life.  You indeed have a legacy to cherish and to build on. Your mum, grand-mums and great-grand-mums are one of the strongest and determined persons I have met and I know the seed lives on in you. Yes, I did come to know them all and I see the foundation you have to lean on. You are Royalty both Spiritually and by Land Origin. 1 Pet 2:9 reminds me of your spiritual royalty and the knowledge that you are of the origin of men who have reigned as Kings in Nigeria both in Kogi and Ondo States. Therefore, let the words scribed above by the Queen of the Southern Nigerian Kingdom bring light to you today and for every other day. I was watching a movie during the past weekend and it showcased a Father who stood by his daughter even when the whole community were against her. I would like you to know that I would be by your side from Day 1 t...

Love & More - Act 2

It has been a while we had the movie night. We have some history with movie nights I must say. From the times in Akure, Lagos and now, Amstelveen.  Whenever we watch, it exciting. I enjoyed the action movies and then the love ones. I enjoy all of it anyway cos we watch together. the taking it back so you understand better is not so fun for me sha..me i have moved on in cases like that.....but anyways, i agree with you.......better to understand the context. When did we start watching movies together?   Before we got married I guess. I guess this was in Lagos before I took the job with BEDC. Not sure if we watched any on our own or always with Bukky and Busayo. But anyways..the history was formed. Cinemas. one thing I loved about Igbatoro, Akure was the Filmhouse Cinemas at the Akure Mall.  and then those cozy evening when we did nothing but watch a move together. Do you always stay up when we watch? Now I have to write that you might stay up with the first movie but...
