I was at a Toastmasters Club

Been wanting to do this.

I had my first visit to a Toastmasters club yesterday. I spent about an hour and a half. It was worth it.

I visited the Elevation Toastmaster's club at the Elevation church, Lekki. This was a good choice for me as it is close to home (Home now is Ologolo, near Jakande, Lekki Expressway).

I took part in the Table-Talk session and got good feedback. I spoke for 2 minutes on the topic: If you could travel back in time, within your family history, Who would you love to meet and why?

My evaluator said I made use of the pause fillers (Kiitan had told me earlier when I was to make a presentation at work) and needed to make eye contact with my audience when speaking. She used the CRC method. Commend, Recommend and Commend again.

I also listened to some prepared speeches by Toastmasters. I would love to attend again and join within the month. The next session is on 17th November 2018.

I look forward to making prepared speeches myself.

The Many Walks with Kiity

Ever heard of the benefits of 30 minutes walk everyday? I bet you have. Walking is a great way to improve or maintain our overall health. Just 30 minutes every make a change in your life. Love & More - Act 2

It has been a while we had the movie night. We have some history with movie nights I must say. From the times in Akure, Lagos and now, Amstelveen. Whenever we watch, it exciting. I enjoyed the action movies and then the love ones. I enjoy all of it anyway cos we watch together. the taking it back so you understand better is not so fun for me sha..me i have moved on in cases like that.....but anyways, i agree with you.......better to understand the context.
